Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the global status to a new position where Sri Lanka has been impacted many ways among which Agriculture is a prime when the food security is concerned. This editorial has evaluated the situations by elaborating the opportunities created in expanding the agriculture sector. Importance of holistic approach, informed decision making and collective actions with a focus, have been highlighted as the key elements in facing the post pandemic in the anticipated new normal era.
